Jamie Erwin is a local artist from Hendersonville, Tennessee. Under her business Southern Easel, she specializes in custom orders (portraits and murals) and sells digital prints, illustrations, stickers, oil, and acrylic paintings online and in various craft shows throughout the year. She loves to create versatile paintings that have a feeling of nostalgia and highlight the landscapes, stories, and memories that she grew up on.

She is a graduate of Austin Peay State University with a Bachelors Degree in Art History. Her Black Lives Matter piece earned her the Bruce Child’s Printmaking Award and CECA Purchase Award in 2021, and is part of Austin Peay State University’s art collection.

She has recently graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a Master’s Degree in Information Sciences (MSIS). You can find her artwork at The Bakery at 1601 in Clarksville, CJ Advertising in Nashville, Pair Eyewear in Nashville, and The Little Red Hen in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
